Barton Hall: A Stunning Venue for Weddings in Kettering

As a magician specialising in wedding entertainment near Northamptonshire, I had the pleasure of performing a memorable three-hour close-up magic show at the beautiful Barton Hall in Kettering on 13th September 2025. This venue truly stands out with its stunning glass roof and expansive orangery, set within open plan grounds that offer a bright and welcoming atmosphere. I was booked to entertain Luke and Mary on their special day, where 88 daytime guests immersed themselves in the lively magic and joyous celebration.

Barton Hall's open plan layout and bright, airy environment set the perfect scene for my close-up magic. The helpful and friendly staff, especially Lily, made the whole experience seamless, from early access to setting up in the designated room to ensuring the guests had ample space to enjoy the entertainment. I also collaborated closely with Alan the toastmaster, which helped create a smooth flow from magic to speeches and celebrations. One of the highlights of my performance was the guests' reaction to the card and time tricks, which prompted plenty of laughter and amazement. A particularly funny moment was when a young guest lost their souvenir card about ten times, repeatedly asking me to sign a new card, it was a comical highlight and led to many smiles all around.
